This gorgeous dude is alive, he’s just chilling since I turned him upside down for a minute.

This is a male Eastern Fence Lizard. Their backs are a very drab grey and brown camo-type pattern but the scales on their throats and bellies have this stunning blue coloration. Beautiful lizards!

This is a close-up of the snout of Smaug the 22 inch American Alligator skull.

Old Smaug apparently got into a pretty vicious fight with another alligator at some point in his life, as shown by these bite marks in his skull. They were in the process of healing when he died. The hole on the right is a little large than a dime.

African Leopard Tortoise Hatchling Skull. It was a captive bred tortoise that died while hatching. Very fragile little skull.
