Molly sniffed out a partial possum skeleton that washed up the last time the creek flooded. Also found a piece of a turtle shell and a possum tooth while we were down there.
The dead things I found at the creek last week. Two dead fish, deer vertebrae, deer leg bone, and a piece of a young raccoon skull.
Remember that big pink ball I saw floating down the creek a few months ago? I found its friend down there last week. Apparently its name is Alex.
My creek is full of balls.
My neighbor’s cows have been getting out a lot lately and they like to cruise around the gravel bars down at the creek. I found this poor little dude smushed down in one of their tracks yesterday.
So blue without you.

You see some pretty random things at my creek. Here was somebody’s giant pink ball going on an adventure.
Glass and pottery shards I’ve picked up at the creek the last couple of years. Some are very old and some are newer but they’ve all been worn smooth by tumbling around in the creek.
